West Philadelphia writer and illustrator Aaron Birk will present and talk about his newly published graphic novel, The Pollinator’s Corridor.
The novel is about urban restoration ecology since 1975; native plants and pollinators of the North East; bee keeping secrets from Nepal to Langstroth to the 21st century; community gardens and native seed banks in New York City; zone gardening in Central Park; the union of art and urban ecology; pollination corridors, buffer zones, and the magic of goats.
Copies and original art will be available for sale by the author.

We’ll be hosting the February 2012 Thursday Night Throwdown. You don’t need us to remind you that Philly TNT is ”the hottest, most essential monthly event of its kind anywhere in the world” (according to Sprudge.com). You don’t want to miss it!
